Plant Operator

Job Description

Salary: $17.00 - $18.00/hour

Brooks Grease Service is adding a Plant Operator to our growing Wichita plant. A successful candidate is reliable, dependable, motivated, and able to take direction and work independently as well as with others. This is a physical, manual labor job which requires the operator to be outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions, which may be extreme. Experience driving a tractor trailer and forklift is a plus.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Job Responsibilities:

• Loading and offloading of used cooking oil
• Refining of product
• Processing/Dispersal of wastewater
• Lifting 50 lbs occasionally
• Climbing ladders and stairs throughout the day
• Cleaning/refurbishing containers as they arrive
• Picking up trash around the plant
• Cleaning the grease/oil off plant equipment and pavement for the safety of all
• Managing time well and changing tasks as requested by management and co-workers
• May be required to ride with drivers to customer locations to set up/pick up oil containers, assist with cleanup of spills, and other tasks
• Normal working hours are Mon-Fri 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
