(IT) Technical Solution Architect

Role Overview

The Technical Solution Architect will lead the technical design, deployment, and management of a regulated on-premise datacentre environment, ensuring that all activities adhere to relevant regulatory requirements. This role requires a high level of expertise in datacentre management, application migration, network architecture, security measures, and technical leadership.

Core competencies:

• Ability to design, deploy, and manage robust network architectures that support high availability and performance
• Proficiency in deploying and managing hypervisors (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) to create and maintain virtual machines and environments
• Expertise in implementing and managing network security measures, such as Firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
• Understanding of monitoring solutions to ensure system health, performance, and availability
• Awareness of application migration and hosting best practices

Must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Regulatory requirements and best practices to ensure alignment to necessary compliance standards.
• Proficiency in implementing security measures to protect the data centre from physical and cyber threats (for example Fortinet Virtualized Firewalls)
• Security Cleared
• Skills in installing and configuring Servers, storage systems, and networking equipment
• Knowledge of integrating on-premise datacentres with public or private cloud environments to create a hybrid infrastructure.

This is a remote position, outside of IR35, with occasional travel to customer sites as needed. Candidates must be eligible for Security Clearance. For more information, please submit your application.
