Would you like to be part of an established and expanding PLC organisation based near Blackburn who due to expansion are looking to speak to CIMA / ACCA candidates who are looking for a career in finance?

They are currently looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team; this would be an excellent opportunity to further your career allowing you to become a qualified accountant.

They are looking for an individual that has clear aspirations and wants to progress through their studies quickly alongside a challenging role.

The responsibilities will include:

1. Preparation of monthly management accounts.
2. Credit control over multiple ledgers.
3. Cashflow analysis.
4. Adhoc reporting.
5. Month-end accounting support to the Management Accountant and Financial Controller.
6. Provide detailed analysis with commentary as needed to show profitability.
7. Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
8. Develop methods to gain a greater understanding of the figures in a timely manner.

What are we looking for?

1. Degree in Accountancy and Finance or studying for your accountancy qualifications although Maths, Economics, Physics are also suitable (min 2:1).
2. A high level of analytical and numerical problem-solving skills.
