School Caretaker – The role:

1. Ensuring the school premises are well-maintained, clean, and safe.
2. Opening and closing the school each day.
3. Carrying out minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
4. Monitoring site security and safety, including regular fire safety checks.
5. Overseeing deliveries and managing school supplies.
6. Assisting with the setup of classrooms and school events.

School Caretaker – Qualifications / experience required:

1. Previous experience in a caretaker or facilities role is desirable.
2. Be able to work under COSHH regulations.
3. Strong DIY skills for minor repairs.
4. Good communication and organisational skills.
5. A proactive and reliable attitude.
6. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
