Yard Operative
  • Location: Bury St Edmunds
  • Job Type: Full-time

Join our industry-leading team as a Yard Operative and play a crucial role in our team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to maintaining high standards of safety and organisation in the workplace.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the workshop and yard areas, ensuring they are free from hazards.
  • Store tools and equipment correctly and securely.
  • Ensure all equipment leaving the depot is pressure cleaned and refuelled, ready for customer use.
  • Accurately update fuel logs and other maintenance records.
  • Support colleagues and contribute to team efforts by accomplishing additional tasks as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a labourer role, preferably within a hire depot or yard environment.
  • Strong team player with the ability to also work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail.
  • CSCS card, forklift licence is preferable but not essential.
  • Full Driving License
