Fire Damper Maintenance Engineer

We are a well-established Facilities Management company seeking an experienced Fire Damper Maintenance Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining HVAC systems and fire dampers across various sites.

Key Responsibilities:

1. HVAC Maintenance: Inspect, clean, and replace air filters; perform scheduled maintenance and record keeping.
2. Fire Damper Maintenance: Inspect, clean, lubricate, and test fire dampers; ensure fusible links and other components work properly. Document all work with photographic evidence.
3. General: Work across Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, and Birmingham. Communicate with the helpdesk to meet deadlines. Ensure Health & Safety compliance and build relationships with colleagues and clients.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in mechanical or fire damper maintenance.
2. Strong communication and time management skills.
3. Ability to work independently and follow Health & Safety regulations.

Fire Damper Testing:

Fire dampers should be inspected and tested annually, with more frequent checks in dusty areas.
