Do you have a passion for rehabilitation and working with people to maximise their independence and improve their health and wellbeing? If so, we have a range of exciting opportunities for dynamic and forward-thinking Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Assistant Practitioners and support staff to help us support more people to live independently in their own homes for as long as possible.

The Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership is seeking a range of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Assistant Practitioners and support staff to help us deliver major transformational change to strengthen and redesign its home-based rehabilitation services. This includes the design and implementation of a new Enhanced Rehabilitation Service to augment existing community rehabilitation pathways. This ambitious service-design will see the type of rehabilitation that has historically, and more commonly been provided in an inpatient setting, being provided in a home-based environment seven days of the week.

As a key member of the Enhanced Rehabilitation team, you will bring a commitment to collaborative working, a focus on delivering high quality interventions and support, and be person-centred in your approach. As a new service, you have lots of opportunities to develop skills in rehabilitation across a range of medical conditions, problem solving, quality improvement, and team building.

When joining the EHSCP you can expect a commitment to your personal and professional development and access to a range of training and development opportunities relevant to your role.

If you are looking to find out more about any of these exciting opportunities, please contact Lauren Dunbar by email at lauren.dunbar2@nhs.scot who will arrange a discussion with Hannah Cairns, Chief Allied Health Professional, or Kirsty.Dewar@Edinburgh.gov.uk, Occupational Therapy Professional Lead, or Helen.Fitzgerald@nhs.scot, Physiotherapy Professional Lead, EHSCP.
