Assembly Technician - Weekend shift (FTC)

Siemens Healthineers Magnet Technology has an exciting opportunity for Manufacturing Technicians to join our established site in Eynsham, Oxford, and our soon-to-open, state-of-the-art Industry 4.0 production facility in Bicester, Oxfordshire.

Siemens Healthineers is a global leader in a rapidly growing market and is expanding its manufacturing capability in Bicester by 2026. We are looking for Manufacturing Technicians to join our Weekend shifts.

These roles are offered on an initial 12-month FTC.

Role & Responsibilities:
  • As a flexible Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that superconducting magnets are manufactured to a high standard.
  • Following health and safety standards.
  • Maintaining a clean workstation in line with our 5S principles.
  • Assembling products and parts following production instructions and specifications.
  • Operating machinery and production line equipment (training provided).
  • Meeting production targets.
  • Reporting any issues to the supervisor on duty.
  • Performing other tasks as assigned.
Skills and Attributes:
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to follow detailed production instructions and specifications accurately.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn.
  • Team player with effective communication skills to report issues and collaborate with supervisors.
