Early Years Practitioner / Childcare / No Previous Experience Required

NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED – FULL TRAINING PROVIDED

If you’ve worked in childcare, then great. But if not, the company will consider candidates with no formal qualifications, providing you have an interest in childcare as full training will be provided.

SALARY: £11.44 - £12.21 per Hour

LOCATION: Battersea, South West London (SW11)

JOB TYPE: Full-Time and Part-Time Permanent Positions Available

FULL-TIME WORKING HOURS: 7:30am - 6:30 pm, 4 Days per Week

PART-TIME WORKING HOURS: 1pm-6:30 pm, 5 Days per Week

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Childcare Early Years Practitioner who is passionate about nurturing the youngest learners within a friendly and supportive environment.

Working as a Childcare Early Years Practitioner you will be a valued member of the team where you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and stimulating learning experiences for young children.

As a Childcare Early Years Practitioner you will ideally have previous experience working with this age group and a genuine passion for supporting their unique developmental needs.

DUTIES

Your duties as a Childcare Early Years Practitioner include:

  1. Keeping a record of the children’s progress to share with parents and other carers
  2. Building and maintaining relationships with parents and other carers to facilitate the daily learning and care of the children
  3. Providing support to other nursery staff members
  4. Creating an environment that meets the needs of the children by considering their cultural and individual needs
  5. Advising the Nursery Manager about concerns relating to a child or parent while respecting confidentiality requirements
  6. Adhering to the nursery’s policies and procedures, as well as legislative requirements relating to childcare
  7. Maintaining high standards for safety, cleanliness, and hygiene
  8. Creating fun and educational activities for the children under their care

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• No formal qualifications required as full training provided

• Must have an interest in childcare

• Possess a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of young children

• Be able to work effectively as part of a team and independently, using their own initiative

• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Be reliable, punctual, and committed to providing high-quality care
