About the Role

The Drama and English Teacher will be responsible for teaching Drama and English to students at Key Stage 3 and 4. The ideal candidate will have a passion for both subjects and will be able to create engaging and stimulating lessons. The candidate will also have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and the assessment requirements for both subjects.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Drama and English to students at Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Create and deliver engaging and stimulating lessons
  • Assess and track student progress
  • Provide feedback to students and parents
  • Work with other members of the staff to support the overall development of students

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A university degree in Drama and English or a related field
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum and the assessment requirements for Drama and English
  • Experience teaching Drama and English at the secondary level
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Willingness to undertake training and continued professional development
