We are pleased to announce we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Support worker at Queens Court (Arbennig Unit), Old Colwyn.

What you’ll be doing:

• The people we support are adults with a range of diverse needs.
• Support 1-1 and continue to promote positive well-being.
• Working to maintain a high level of support that’s required for the service needs.
• Personal care may be involved.
• Participate and be as enthusiastic about their likes and wants as they are.
• Maintain and develop their community links, as well as accessing community and leisure pursuits to support their independent living and life skills.
• This is within a large spacious Victorian residential house with extensive gardens.

Who you are:

• Able to work independently, multitask, organise, and prioritise work to suit the people we support.
• Exceptional at building relationships and influencing at all levels, internal and external.
• Have an NVQ level 2 or willing to work towards it.
• Ability to execute and deliver, whilst keeping a positive attitude under pressure.
• Quick learner, hands-on, willing to be flexible in tasks and activities.
• Flexible as you may be required to cover some waking night shifts as required due to service needs.
