The School of Computer Science and Mathematics within the Faculty of Health, Innovation, Technology and Science seeks to appoint a Lecturer or Teaching Fellow in the field of Computing. We particularly welcome applicants who have experience in software design and development, networking, web development, information systems or databases, and data science.
The role will involve delivery of undergraduate teaching specifically supporting our Foundation level and undergraduate Degree Apprenticeship programme (BSc Hons Digital and Technology Solutions Professional). You will also be expected to make broad contributions to the academic work of the School of Computer Science and Mathematics in the fields of computing and computer science. In addition, you may contribute to the development and delivery of outreach and engagement initiatives as well as interdisciplinary project areas. A background in software development and/or computer science, possibly with a PhD in a related subject and/or relevant professional experience from industry, is preferred.
