Full time, live out Nanny position in Somerset

This friendly and busy family are looking for a Nanny with experience who is gentle and loving, sets clear boundaries and has excellent communication skills.

The family of four love spending time in the countryside and the beautiful surroundings of their home. They live on a small holding with 9 acres of land between Bruton and Castle Cary. The 3-year-old boy is a bright and sensitive character; he loves music, singing and reading and would love to find a Nanny he can build an inquisitive rapport with. The 1-year-old is a happy and chilled boy who loves nothing more than water play, going swimming and exploring the outdoors. This position will suit someone who also loves the countryside and is also an animal lover as the family have a very friendly Labrador and 2 cats.

Your duties are all child care related and the parents let you have autonomy on where you want to take the children. They provide a very child-oriented family environment and would love someone proactive to become a part of their family on a long-term basis. They would love you to provide fun and age-appropriate activities to broaden the children’s horizons and an environment for them to thrive in.

This position will suit a confident and fun Nanny who has experience of caring for two children under the age of 4 years and has been a Nanny before. Someone with a passion for supporting the children’s development and carrying out activities around their individual interests.

This is a permanent position.

Minimum experience Level for this job: Minimum 4 years in childcare and at least 2 years as a Nanny with age-appropriate experience

Details of any qualifications needed for this job: Level 3 in childcare or above is preferred

Hours of work: 7.30am-6.30pm

Pay: £45,000 – £55,000 gross per annum, dependent on experience and qualification
