Description
The Global Delivery division is responsible for onboarding all new clients onto Clearwater’s SaaS platform. As a Solution Architect, you will work on a variety of complex client implementations to own and execute robust solution design. You will be an integral part of a collaborative division spanning analysts, workstream team leads and program managers.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute Requirements Analysis and Solution Design phase for strategic programmes
- Collaborate with Sales for early scope discovery and SOW creation.
- Own and create operational model and transition strategy from implementation to steady state
- Develop and apply deep domain expertise to evaluate requirements and configure solutions to meet a wide range of investment accounting and reporting needs for Clearwater's largest clients
- Collaborate with Clearwater Product and Development teams to bring in customer know-how, enhance our product roadmap, improve our client onboarding experience, shorten delivery time frames, and develop repeatable, scalable processes.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with senior stakeholder groups within and outside Clearwater to steer decisions on scope.
- Be an evangelist for Clearwater products and solutions within internal and external teams.
- Partner with Programme Managers on executing change management during implementations
- Have clear alignment to Clearwater vision and strategy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- 10+ years’ experience with investment accounting and reporting for insurance and investment managers
- Proven experience in complex implementations involving multi-tier architecture
- Deep knowledge of investment management, trade operations, compliance, investment accounting, regulatory reporting, asset pricing and valuations, risk/performance and related areas.
- Deep familiarity with modern data, analytics, and trading technologies from data integration and investment systems landscape to front end reporting
- Knowledge of Private Assets is a plus.
- Deep knowledge on Regulatory Reporting: Solvency II, Local regulatory reporting, IFRS/GAAP reporting
- Securities or financial markets, derivatives, alternatives, structured products, and/or fixed income
- Dynamic problem-solving skills, and an innate sense of curiosity
- Awareness of SaaS and cloud architecture
- Knowledge of investment accounting policies and procedures
- Excellent organizational & interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
