Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer / Applications Engineer required to join a leading global engineering manufacturer.
The successful candidate will provide technical specification advice and manage the sales process including generating quotations, processing orders, raising purchase orders and invoices, documentation, proposals, and other aspects of sales support with valves and heat exchangers, steam traps, hot water, and thermal oil systems.
The ideal candidate will have technical sales/sales support experience selling technical products and specifications within engineering and want to develop with an exciting global engineering manufacturer.

Role:
Provide technical advice and guidance on Fluid Dynamic systems working with Valves and Heat Exchangers, steam traps, hot water, and thermal oil systems. Full product training provided.
Generate tailored quotations and proposals for fluid power products to meet customers’ requirements.
Manage sales process including handling enquiries, providing technical support, and offering solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
Inbound and outbound calls to qualify leads and solution sell engineering solutions.
Provide technical support and all other aspects of sales support - e.g. sales orders, order processing, expediting, inbound and outbound calls, purchase orders, and documentation.
Product specification advice and after-sales support of automation equipment and associated engineering products.
Liaise with various engineering departments and support a team of technical sales engineers.
Commutable to the office near Tewkesbury.
Requirements:
Experience as a Sales Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, Contracts Engineer, Proposals Engineer, Technical Advisor, Technical Sales Engineer, Technical Coordinator, Applications Engineer, or similar within the engineering industry.
Experience working with fluid power products, mechanical engineering solutions, or engineering sales is beneficial; full product training is provided.
Experience providing technical sales/sales support within an engineering environment.
An engineering technical qualification, apprentice trained, HNC, HND, or degree would be highly ideal but not required.
Managing inbound and outbound calls.
Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Commutable to the office based near Tewkesbury.
