School Caretaker - Opportunity to Progress to Site Manager
Location: Bromley, Kent
Salary: £28,594 - £30,841
Hours: 9am - 5pm
Position: Temporary to Permanent

T4S Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a primary school in Bromley, Kent, for an experienced School Caretaker to step up into a Site Manager role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled caretaker ready to take the next step in their career!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Overseeing the day-to-day maintenance and security of the school premises.
2. Carrying out a range of DIY and maintenance tasks to ensure the school buildings and grounds are well-maintained and safe.
3. Managing and coordinating facilities projects, ensuring timely and high-quality completion.
4. Supervising contractors and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
5. Managing site-related administrative tasks and using IT systems efficiently.

Requirements:

1. Good working knowledge of facilities management.
2. Strong DIY, maintenance, and handy-person skills.
3. Excellent IT skills for managing site documentation and systems.
4. Previous experience as a Site Manager is desirable but not essential—high technical ability and experience managing premises projects are key.
