Position Summary:

The Procurement: Local Category Manager will lead procurement efforts across Marketing and Professional Services categories for Asahi UK. This individual will be responsible for managing UK-specific spend, working with regional/global teams, and ensuring alignment between stakeholders and suppliers. The ideal candidate will possess a commercial mindset, be a strategic thinker, and have significant indirect procurement experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage UK-specific spend in Marketing and Professional Services, ensuring cost-efficiency and optimal supplier performance.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies, leveraging market analysis and stakeholder input.
• Collaborate with global and regional procurement teams, ensuring alignment of strategies and execution across borders.
• Manage supplier relationships, ensuring consistent delivery and high standards in line with Asahi’s premium brand positioning.
• Support large-scale procurement projects, driving continuous improvements in supplier performance and cost savings.

Key Requirements:

• 3-5 years of Procurement experience, with a focus on Marketing and Professional Services.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to negotiate complex contracts.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities effectively.
• Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Strong team collaboration skills, with an eagerness to mentor junior team members.
