There is an exciting opportunity to join Bellway, one of the UK’s largest house builders. Our Yorkshire Division based in Leeds is looking to recruit a Design Manager to join the Division’s Technical team.
Our Technical department are responsible for establishing the infrastructure that connects a new development and for putting in place all the important things that enable a community to thrive. The Technical department are also responsible for the layout of our sites, ensuring we are creating places that work for every aspect of our customers’ lives. The Architectural team is responsible for the preparation and submission of planning applications, preparation of viabilities and secure planning and building regulations approval at the pre-start and concept stage of development.
Good working knowledge of the planning system and building regulations. Candidates from architectural practice will be considered.
Proficiency in CAD and layouts. HND level qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant building related subject.
Willing to be flexible in respect to day to day duties and hours worked. Ability to travel to development sites as and when required.
