Technical Planning & Records Officer

Zenon are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and successful independent consultancy that provides business analysis to the commercial aviation sector at their HQ in South UK.

Successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the company’s global client base with all aspects of the financial and operational life cycle of their aircraft, including aircraft valuations and market analysis in support of aircraft trading and portfolio acquisitions.

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

• Conducting market research and gathering intelligence through various sources.
• Participating as a member of the Valuations team on client projects.
• Taking part in wider cross-department projects with varying scopes.
• Interfacing with clients to gather data and present results of studies and analyses.
• Providing expert advice to clients on a variety of industry topics.
• Liaising with industry leaders and establishing relationships with new and existing clients.
• Creating industry-leading content across multiple platforms.
• Helping with the innovation and evolution of product offerings and internal models.
• Traveling globally to industry events and conferences.
• Networking to create and grow your list of industry contacts with access to some of the most senior industry participants.

Minimum Skills and Experience:

• 2:1 in Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, or another numerical/research degree.
• Experience post-graduation in an analytical role or graduate scheme.
• Understanding of finance fundamentals is desirable.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office products, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Organizational skills, flexibility in managing multiple priorities, and attention to detail.
• An interest in the aviation sector, with experience in the sector preferred but not essential.
