Are you passionate, ambitious and driven? We have a rare and exciting opportunity for you to step into a Team Leader position in our Claims Team in Christchurch!

The Role:

Based in our Christchurch office, reporting to Manager, Transactional Claims, you will work with a team of Advisers and Seniors focused on lodging, assessing, managing, and settling claims across various FMG products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Claims Advisers to deliver consistent, professional, and client-focused claims service.
  • Provide support, development, and tools to Claims Advisers to enhance their performance.
  • Analyse team performance and offer support and recognition where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with the Claims team and the wider organisation to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain a high standard of client service and ensure all claims are handled efficiently and effectively.

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a claims or customer service environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and improve team performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
