JOB PURPOSE
Providing autism diagnostic assessments.
Providing specialist psychological assessment and interventions to autistic adults without a learning disability.
Offering advice and consultation on clients’ autistic presentation and needs, as well as psychological care to colleagues in non-autism services (e.g., mental health services, adult social care, inpatient teams, rough sleeping services).
Working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures.
Utilising research skills for audit, policy and service development and research;
Being involved in project work which can support service delivery and policy changes within the area served by the team/service.
