General Manager Essex – Distribution

Leading retailer is now looking for a Senior General Manager for their large distribution centre. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience within distribution gained within an FMCG environment.

You will be responsible for this 625,000 square foot chilled and ambient warehouse and have budget control of £30 million.

Responsibilities include servicing 120 stores in the South of England and managing a workforce of 700 delivering 400,000 units per week (1.1 million at peak) with a fleet of 60 tractors and 190 trailers.

Must have previously worked within a unionised environment.
