Your contribution to Prysmian's Success:

We are looking for a Operational Purchasing Buyer to join our team in Middlesbrough. Reporting to the Operational Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Develop, update and execute the procurement plan within the assigned commodities related to HV installation perimeter
• Manage the procurement plan guaranteeing compliance with budget, timing, contractual requirements; Drafting bidder lists, analyzing offers, negotiating prices and discussing contractual conditions with the support of internal clients departments
• Identify saving and improvement opportunities in terms of costs, process, quality, service, etc.
• Promote Purchasing early involvement and support; Implement purchasing procedures and processes;
• Scout the market to expand suppliers basis for strategic commodities; Perform spent analysis and market evaluation;

You are the right fit if you have/are:

• Ideally hold previous experience within Purchasing function;
• Preferably experience developed into multinational companies;
• Determined, enthusiast and committed to manage complexity and challenges;
• Excellent team building attitude;
• Good communication skills and strategic mindset;
• Proficiency in English, Italian is a plus;
• Familiar with SAP system.
