Product Specialist – Associate Director/Director – German Speaking – Top ETF Provider

Product Specialist – ETFs (equities, commodities, thematics, digital assets)

A top global ETF Provider is hiring a Product Specialist in their European Research Team to help deliver research and drive growth across the fund range. This role will be based in London or Munich.

This candidate will play a key role in supporting the product range through research, content and client interactions, particularly in the German speaking region. This candidate will be instrumental in supporting sales by explaining the value proposition of our existing strategies, by creating innovative and engaging content to support our investors accomplish their investment goals and by developing new investment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Support sales efforts across asset classes through content, custom analysis and direct client interaction, with a particular focus on German speaking region.
• Develop distribution-oriented research across asset classes, particularly in a manner that relates to supporting and explaining the value proposition of our existing strategies.
• Conduct analytical assessments of different portfolios and how those may translate to the realization of different types of investment goals.
• Act as Product Specialist for a part of the firm’s product range.
• Propose and develop new, innovative investment strategies to be launched as an ETF.
• Deliver and build client-facing communications and presentations.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in a product specialist or research role in finance, with at least 5 years of experience, but with no maximum experience.
• Fluent German is required.
• Comprehensive understanding of financial mathematics and derivatives.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with various industry tools (i.e. Bloomberg, Morningstar).
