Senior Business Intelligence & Analytics Manager

Contract: 6 months – Inside IR35

Day rate, dependent on experience: £600-£750 p.d

Locations: Hampshire / remote working

Our client is a leading household brand, who is really investing in their data, BI and analytics teams to better enable them to make data-driven decisions and enhance customer experience. It is a truly exciting time to be part of their journey!

Following a recent re-structure and move to a more agile / product focussed operating model, we are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence and Analytics Manager to join the brand for circa 6 months to oversee the delivery of reporting and visualisation dashboards to a range of stakeholders, whilst influencing ongoing business change and future strategy. There is also the opportunity that the breadth of this role could expand to also include leading a section of their Customer Insight and Analytics team as well, but that is purely dependent on the skillset of the successful candidate and level of experience.

Reporting to the Director of Data Products and Data Science, this role will manage a team of circa 5-8 direct reports ranging from MI Analysts, BI Developers and potentially also Insight Analysts.

What are we looking for:

• Solid experience in managing a reporting, MI or BI dashboard team in a fast-paced environment and complex business setting.
• Previous hands-on experience developing MI & BI reports and dashboards, and a broad technical skillset, with the knowledge of how to apply best practice when it comes to self-service and automation technologies.
• Extensive experience working with a range of stakeholders, gathering requirements, and presenting results.
• Confident team manager, experienced in setting the direction of a small – medium sized team and agreeing work backlog priorities.
• Direct experience with Power BI and experience with OBIEE advantageous.
• Good Data Warehousing / Data Lake integration knowledge.
• Experience of also managing Customer Insight / Analytics teams is an added bonus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build rapport at all levels.
