Inverkeithing Community Garden is looking to recruit an enthusiastic people person, with a passion for gardening and green growth to work with us to maintain and develop the garden for locals and visitors alike.
The garden is a constituted community group, run by a committee of local people. We successfully applied to the National Lottery Awards for All for a two year project to fund a part time coordinator.
As well as leading the team of volunteers in their weekly garden sessions and managing the garden, you will be engaging with local groups to encourage use of the garden and to inform seasonal activities. Over the two year duration of the post you will liaise with the committee to develop and deliver a series of seasonal events.
This is a part time seasonal post comprising 10 hours/week March - October when the garden is open and 3 hours/week November - February when the garden is closed. It is offered on a self employed basis, £25/hour, £9850.00/annum.
