  3. Ensure all customer requests are handled efficiently with clear communication regarding response and delivery times.
  4. Oversee the completion and accuracy of BoMs, ensuring they reflect the latest costs.
  5. Manage the pricing model in collaboration with senior team members, ensuring all inputs, including production timings, are accurate.
  6. Oversee customer account management and customer support functions, ensuring smooth operations and a high level of service.
  7. Take a proactive approach to lead generation and sales, developing and executing a structured programme of telephone calls, meetings, and emails in consultation with the Managing Director.
  8. Work closely with the Managing Director on the formulation of responses to bids and tenders, ensuring a strategic and competitive approach.
  9. Liaise with the Production Manager to ensure that production is scheduled effectively to meet customer delivery requirements.
  10. Contribute to discussions around customer-facing and administrative efficiencies that align with long-term business success.
  11. Assist in developing and managing the overall business budget, ensuring that financial objectives are met while maintaining operational efficiency.

Key Requirements

  1. Proven commercial management experience in the furniture industry.
  2. A track record of building and leading successful teams.
  3. Strong experience in estimating, product pricing, and preparing quotations.
  4. Ability to work from technical drawings to ensure accurate costing and pricing.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (intermediate level or higher).
  6. Excellent general IT literacy, including experience working with ERP systems.

Why Join?
