Health & Safety Manager
Location: West Horndon, Essex (UK-wide travel required)
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 + bonus + company vehicle
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join an established engineering company working across high-risk sectors including Power, Petrochemical, and Aggregates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on all HSE matters across office and site operations
- Maintain and improve ISO 45001, 14001 & 9001 systems
- Conduct audits, risk assessments, incident investigations
- Provide HSE support on tenders and engineering projects
- Deliver internal training and manage sub-contractor compliance
- Support major outages and site work across the UK
About You:
- 5+ years in a similar role within heavy engineering
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
- Grad IOSH (minimum), CSCS card holder
- Internal audit qualified
- Strong communicator with a hands-on, pragmatic approach
- Full UK driving licence
