Job description

PE Teacher – Stockport

Are you a dynamic and energetic PE Teacher? Teaching Personnel is recruiting for a full-time PE Teacher to join a secondary school in Stockport from January 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to lead PE lessons, promote a love of physical activity, and inspire students to develop their fitness and leadership skills. You’ll be teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students build confidence and resilience while learning about health, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and lead engaging PE lessons that cater to students of varying abilities
  • Coach students in a variety of sports, from athletics to team sports like football and basketball
  • Organise and oversee extracurricular sports clubs, school teams, and inter-school matches
  • Instil positive attitudes towards fitness, personal health, and teamwork

We’re seeking a qualified PE Teacher (QTS) who is passionate about sports and physical education.
