Production Operator

Mayday Personnel is proud to be working with an established and friendly company based in Lymington, Hampshire which is looking to recruit a Production Operator for their friendly manufacturing business. This position is temporary ongoing that can become permanent after 12 weeks if you get on well!

You will be a hard-working and reliable Production Operator, with good attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for various duties within production from working on the line and preparing orders for dispatch to operating machinery and keeping working areas clean and tidy.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operating machinery and changing/assembling machinery parts depending on the type of product
2. Labelling orders ready for dispatch within the cold store area
3. Loading completed orders onto pallets
4. Maintaining records/monitoring forms and checklists
5. Loading packaging products into the machine
6. Any other ad-hoc duties when required within the production areas

Key Skills:

1. Self-motivated and good time keeping skills to meet deadlines
2. A good work ethic and attitude
3. Great communication skills
4. Very good attention to detail to ensure accuracy
5. Previous production/machine operating skills is an advantage (full company training is provided)

Reward: £12.00 p/h

Working Hours: 08:00 am - 17:00 pm (with a 30 minute un-paid lunch break), Monday to Friday - No Weekends!
