Job Description

Are you ready to kickstart your career in compensation? Join our team and play a key role in attracting, retaining, and motivating our workforce as part of our talent development strategy.

As a Compensation Specialist within the Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB), you'll support our compensation strategy and help with important projects in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). You'll be involved in various activities, such as advising on employee compensation, helping with annual planning, and analyzing market data.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning and administrative tasks for our annual compensation processes, working with different business lines and HR and Finance teams.
  • Provide support on compensation activities, including new hire offers, promotions, transfers, and budget planning.
  • Participate in compensation surveys and analyze data to support our needs.
  • Support projects related to compensation, including policy reviews and system updates.
  • Become an expert in our compensation reporting tools and help deliver accurate reports and insights.
  • Bring fresh ideas to improve our compensation programs and ensure they align with our business strategy.
  • Contribute to the EMEA Compensation Agenda, including region-specific activities.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Some experience in HR/Compensation or Finance, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good data management skills and a basic understanding of how large organizations work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel (knowledge of Pivot Tables, IF statements, XLOOKUPs).
  • Attention to detail and ability to tell a story through data analysis.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a creative approach to HR/Compensation strategies.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Ability to maintain operational excellence with appropriate controls.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft and experience with Business Objects.
  • Previous experience in the financial services industry.
