Welder Fabricator

Vecta Search are currently recruiting for a Welder/Fabricator for our client based in Portsmouth.

We are recruiting for this role due to increased demand so this is a great time to join a growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tig and Mig welding with precision (Stainless Steel/Aluminium)
• Fabricating and polishing parts to a high standard
• Working from detailed drawings
• Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment
• Supporting other tasks as required by workload and company policy

Role Requirements:

• High attention to detail with a flawless approach to work
• Experience in welding various materials (Tig & Mig)
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to operate welding machines
• Experience using power tools, compressed air tools, and hand tools safely
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
• Experience working to technical drawings is preferred
• Ability to use polishing machines and techniques is an advantage
• A common-sense, self-motivated, and “can-do” attitude
• Well-organised, efficient, and effective
• Friendly, good-humoured, and trustworthy with a professional approach

Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced welder/fabricator with a keen eye for detail
• Comfortable working with stainless steel and aluminium
• Willing to work collaboratively, take instruction, and contribute to a team-oriented environment
• Takes pride in delivering work to the highest standard
