2+ years of experience as a Management Accountant in a professional environment.
Part qualified in ACA/ACCA/CIMA with relevant industry experience.

Prepare and review monthly management accounts and timely accounts information.
Lead AR, AP, and cash close processes, ensuring compliance.

I am seeking a part qualified / nearing the end of their studies - Management Accountant for a role I've taken details for based in Warrington (Daresbury) WA4 with hybrid working options - 3 days office and 2 days at home.
This is a fantastic opportunity with plenty of career progression in a large business operating in multiple countries - standalone MA reporting into the FC.

Client Details

The business I have partnered with are a global distributor and operate in 72 countries with £52 million turnover. This role will be based in their Daresbury, Warrington office. (WA4)

Description

You will also have the opportunity to professionally develop whilst adding value on a daily basis.

You will be responsible for undertaking the following duties:

Preparation and review of monthly management accounts.
Preparation of accurate and timely produced accounts information for the management team.
Working to tight deadlines around month-end and compliance.
Leading AR, AP and cash close process.
Completion of month-end balance sheet reconciliations.
Completion of UK VAT returns.

Profile

Relevant industry experience and ACA/ACCA/CIMA part qualified/ finalist accountant.
Minimum of 2 years experience working in a professional office environment undertaking the duties of a Management Accountant.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Must be proficient in working with the MS Office suite.
Excellent administration & organisational skills.
Have a proactive & positive approach to work.

Job Offer

Currently using Sage, moving to SAP next year - opportunity to help implement this system.
Salary wise up to £47k DOE.
Hybrid working.
35 hour working week - 8am to 4pm / 8.30am to 5pm or 9am to 5:30pm with 1-hour lunch.
25 days holidays plus BH plus the option to buy 5 days extra.
