Director of Fundraising

Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Director of Fundraising. The Director of Fundraising will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies, approaching investors, family offices, high net worth individuals, and people with interest in robotics and recycling in order to build a solid fundraising path. The Director of Fundraising will have vested interest, so the company will grant shares according to the level of investment he is able to raise.

Key Responsibilities

• Create a fund focusing on pre-seed and seed specialised investors in robotics and/or waste management in UK and the US.
• Work closely with investors, ensuring they receive the necessary support in decision making.
• Lead portfolio reviews, board meetings, and investor updates to drive strategic alignment and fundraising success.
• Represent the company in pitches, investor events, and ecosystem gatherings.
• Engage with investors, accelerators, and industry experts to strengthen the fund.

Qualifications

• Passionate about robotics and/or waste management.
• Proven record of successful fundraising campaigns with VCs, family offices, and equity-based investors.
• Strong corporate finance and excel skills.
• Very fast mover: TeknTrash moves at breackneck speed.
• A strong work ethic: TeknTrash is committed to do good.
• Strong communication skills: able to create compelling presentations, decks, etc.
• Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.

Note this is an equity-based position until fundraising is achieved, so the Director of Fundraising must have means to support himself during the fundraising process.
