Location: Commutable to Tonbridge (potential for hybrid working)

Remuneration: £40,000 - £50,000 + discretionary bonus

Role Responsibilities:

1. Designer position dealing with the supply and install of rainscreen facades, roofing and cladding.
2. Services include new build and refurbishment projects for commercial, industrial, and residential market sectors.
3. Review client specifications, surveys, and manufacturers' design information to produce designs.
4. Occasional site surveys may be required to obtain further information.
5. Manage the development and implementation of design proposals and ensure they meet client expectations.
6. Ensure all construction drawings and designs are produced on time to a high standard; schedule required materials to an agreed programme for buying.
7. Ensure information is passed between departments so designs have the technical backup required.
8. Work on projects ranging in value from £10k to £6m.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Design experience within the building envelope market sector.
2. Sound knowledge of building regulations and standards.
3. Strong AutoCAD LT & AutoCAD experience.
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
5. High levels of organisation and attention to detail.
6. Enthusiastic team player who works well individually as well.
