Job description

The Trust is recruiting a Project Officer to deliver implementation of a digital 'Remote Monitoring System' (RMS) across UHBW.

The role is a great opportunity for someone who wishes to be involved in an exciting project, which will help transform patient pathways and enhance the experience of our patients.

Please note that this role will require attendance in person and is not a completely remote position.

Main duties of the job

  1. To support the roll out and delivery of the UHBW Remote Monitoring System project, working with key stakeholders across the programme area.
  2. To ensure the development of required project documentation working with key stakeholders in line with the standard project management methodology.
  3. To identify resources required to deliver assigned work.
  4. Develop, refine, maintain, monitor and manage relevant project plans ensuring progress is tracked and reported in line with project management methodology.
  5. Ensure that project plan activities are completed by the responsible officers in line with due dates identified in the plan.

Person Specification

Qualifications and Training

Essential

  • Educated to degree level or an equivalent level of experience in Project Management or Healthcare.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Management or Project Management related subject or demonstrable equivalent professional development.
  • Prince2 project management qualification or demonstrate equivalent expertise.


Knowledge and Experience

Essential

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience of communicating complex information to a wide range of audiences.
  • Experience of working with minimal supervision.
  • Experience of switching tasks at short notice and an unpredictable and variable workload.
  • Experience of prioritising own workload.
  • Experience of influencing senior managers as part of a change programme.
  • Experience of engaging teams in a common goal.
  • Ability to coach on behaviours at all levels in the organisation, to senior executive level.
  • Experience of coaching and challenging others.
  • Experience of working across complex stakeholder relationships.
  • An understanding of team dynamics, and the ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
  • An understanding of relevant legal issues including confidentiality and data protection.
  • An understanding of the current healthcare system.
  • Experience of supporting complex projects across multiple stakeholders.
