Billing Manager - Logistics in London)

Marc Daniels are working with a global logistics company located in Hounslow who are looking for a Billing Manager to join their finance team. The role is hybrid (3 days in the office) and includes many market leading benefits.

Experience in a similar role within logistics is essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of billing specialists, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
2. Billing Process Management: Oversee the entire billing cycle, from rate application and data entry to invoice generation and distribution.
3. Accuracy and Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely invoicing, adhering to client contracts, pricing agreements, and regulatory requirements.
4. Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries in a professional and efficient manner.
5. Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze billing reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
6. System Optimization: Evaluate and optimize billing systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
7. Client Communication: Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing billing-related questions and concerns.
8. Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and information.
9. Process Improvement: Develop and implement process improvements to streamline billing operations and reduce errors.
10. Staying Up-to-Date: Remain current on industry regulations and best practices related to logistics billing.

2. Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
3. Have experience within logistics.
4. Have experience managing a similar-sized team.
5. Be accurate with a strong attention to detail and strong communication skills.
6. Be able to handle multiple duties and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
