Job description

Are you passionate about açaí, being a part of a lifestyle driven business, preparing high quality brunch and thrive in a busy environment?

We are expanding to London and we are in search of a general manager to lead our London team.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team and managing the daily operation of the business. They will be responsible for maintaining the standard of work from employees as well as onboarding and hiring new team members.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of people
  • Manage operations
  • Recruit and train new hires on business practices
  • Drive development of employees
  • Ensure that quality of work or service is maintained to a high level

Skill Sets

  • Operational Management: Takes full ownership of the store, ensuring day-to-day practices are maintained, including coffee and food quality, financial systems and processes, customer experience, health & safety, and food hygiene & allergen practices.
  • Product Expertise: Ensures the team consistently serves superb açaí and other menu items to an exceptionally high standard, maintaining thorough attention to detail.
  • Financial Acumen: Understands profitability, cost management, and financial elements essential for running a profitable coffee shop.
  • Training and Development: Passionate about coaching and developing team members, helping them grow in their individual career journeys.
  • Team Leadership: Constantly inspires and leads the team, keeping expectations and standards high.
  • Strategic Vision: Actively participates in developing the cafe with a vision for longer-term growth.
