Role Purpose:
The Head of Business Administration will lead cross-departmental initiatives, oversee resource allocation, and track the department's performance against key objectives. The Head of Business Administration will facilitate seamless coordination across teams, manage crisis situations, and support the exploration of emerging technologies. This position is essential in ensuring that the Information & Analytics department achieves its goals while optimizing its use of resources and driving innovation.
Main Duties:
- Strategic Initiatives & Crisis Management: Lead select strategic initiatives that require cross-functional collaboration. Serve as the primary point of contact for crisis management, coordinating rapid response and resolution in high-pressure situations.
- Budgeting & Resource Allocation: Support the preparation and management of the department’s budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation. Continuously monitor financial performance and collaborate with teams to identify and mitigate financial risks.
- Cross-Team Coordination: Facilitate communication and collaboration between teams within the Information & Analytics department and across Williams Racing. Ensure that information flows smoothly between departments, helping to maintain a clear strategic focus and alignment.
- OKR Alignment & Tracking: Work across the department to align Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) with the wider organizational strategy. Track progress toward achieving OKRs, ensuring the team meets its goals and measures success effectively.
- Technology Innovation & Partnership Engagement: Drive technology exploration in collaboration with partners and stakeholders. Engage with the Commercial team to understand and assess future technology partnerships. Lead build vs. buy and benchmarking analyses to drive informed decision-making on new technology investments.

- Ensure cost cap requirements are understood and opportunities for efficiency are optimised.
Qualifications and Experience Level:
- Proven experience in operations management, or leadership support role within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and strategic projects.
- Expertise in budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation, with the ability to assess financial risks and opportunities.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, capable of working effectively across senior management, operational teams, and external partners.
- Experience in managing and aligning OKRs or similar performance tracking frameworks to ensure team objectives are met.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in evaluating emerging technologies, partnerships, and innovation strategies.
- Ability to lead in high-pressure situations, demonstrating strong problem-solving and crisis management capabilities.
