An ideal candidate is expected to:

1. Work closely with senior engineers to envision and enable them to design, implement and deploy applications that impact the Amazon.xx business with an emphasis on improving seller experience.
2. Own the delivery of an integral piece of a system or application.
3. Manage and execute against project plans and delivery commitments.
4. Assist directly and indirectly in the continual hiring and development of technical talent.
5. Create and execute appropriate quality plans, project plans, test strategies and processes for development activities in concert with business and project management efforts.

3. Work in close collaboration with team members, leadership, stakeholders and partners to enable high speed delivery meeting and raising quality bar.

2. Reviewing design and code.
3. Resolving bottlenecks.
4. Reviewing process and mechanisms.

About the Team

Team has built multiple WW recognised and adopted solutions that have been from the grounds up by the team. It is a team of motivated engineers that strives to raise the bar with their contributions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. 7+ years of engineering experience.
2. 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
3. 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services experience.
4. Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations.
5. Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
6. Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy.
2. Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers.
