E trading Support Analyst

Job description

Lunalogic UK is looking for an E-Trading Support Analyst with Python skills to join one of its Investment Banks' clients.

The team is responsible for providing support for the internal pricing application within the e-trading components. The main mission is to handle user requests, align processes and procedures, and maintain a high level of quality for the production systems. This position is based in London.

Responsibilities:

• Incident and Problem Management: Manage incidents and problems from start to finish. Ensure all support issues are correctly logged, diagnose issues, and identify their causes.
• Application Monitoring and Follow-Up: Monitor applications and follow up on issues.
• Knowledge Management and Documentation: Maintain documentation and knowledge base.
• Contribute to the capacity management of in-scope applications by proactively monitoring application behavior trends and alerting Application Production teams.
• Maintenance and Enhancements: Perform maintenance tasks and implement enhancements.
• Other Projects and Specific Tasks: Automation and optimization tasks.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Graduate from a top university or engineering school.
• Strong communication skills (ability to clearly explain technical issues).
• Analytical skills.
• Ability to work with trading desks, business management, and IT teams to build and deliver solutions.
• Excellent spoken and written English and French.
• Strong IT skills in Python and VBA.

Soft Skills:

• Strong desire to investigate and resolve issues in both the short and long term.
• Ability to learn quickly and results-driven.
