Job Purpose

This role is to support the E-commerce Manager in driving the growth of online sales and achieving revenue and profit targets through strategic planning and execution of online marketing initiatives. It involves analyzing e-commerce performance data, collaborating with cross-functional teams for seamless activation alignment, maintaining and optimizing website content, and executing effective digital campaigns. Additionally, it aims to enhance SEO traffic generation, contribute to the continuous improvement of the website's design and functionality, and provide data-driven recommendations for market research and trend analysis.


Job Outline

  1. Support the E-commerce Manager in creating online sales plans and an effective online marketing plan to ensure revenue and profit targets are achieved.
  2. Analyze data and generate reports to track e-commerce performance, identify trends and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  3. Work closely with cross-functional departments, including Corporate Communication Marketing & Branding, Contact Centre, Media, Product and the airline teams, to ensure alignment of all activations.
  4. Monitor the performance of the UK & Irish websites and report issues to the relevant departments (IT/Product/Systems) to support business processes and enhance efficiencies for higher productivity.
  5. Regularly update and maintain the websites landing pages with high accuracy.
  6. Plan and execute frequent digital activations, campaigns and email marketing.
  7. Work alongside the marketing and brand team to ensure all promotions are integrated across online and offline media, activities are supported with suitable collateral such as landing pages and that all stakeholders are updated and aligned.
  8. Evaluate and take learnings from all campaigns and strategies deployed by EKH, as well as those of our competitor set, to seek continuous improvement and enhance output.
  9. Support new business strategies including social media strategies to execute campaigns that aim to drive and increase SEO traffic generation.
  10. Conduct regular market research and analysis to identify potential prospects, key competitors, and market trends.

Qualifications & Experience

  1. Degree in Business Studies, Information Technology, E-commerce or related discipline.
  2. A minimum of 3 years' experience gained within an E-Commerce or digital role.
  3. Basic knowledge of HTML.
  4. Experience with Google Analytics.
  5. Experience using a CMS to administer website content.
  6. Strong organizing & planning skills with attention to detail and quality.
  7. Fluency in written and spoken English.
  8. High proficiency in MS Office Applications.
  9. Knowledge and experience of Salesforce Marketing Cloud & MicroStrategy is desirable.
