Are you a Band 6/7 Dysphagia trained paediatric Speech and Language Therapist looking for a rewarding locum role in the North East around Newcastle? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!

Job Title: Band 6/7 Paediatric SLT
Location: Newcastle
Duration: 3 Months + Ongoing
Schedule: Mon-Fri Full Time, Part time 1 day + considered
Start Date: ASAP, within 4-5 weeks
End Date: Ongoing, 3 months minimum
Rate of Pay: £24 - 31ph Umbrella

What You'll Be Doing:

Join our team as an SLT and play a key role in improving the lives of paediatric patients throughout Newcastle and surrounding areas. In this role, you will:

  1. perform comprehensive patient assessments
  2. create and implement personalised care plans
  3. deliver evidence-based treatments to optimise patient outcomes
  4. collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care
  5. maintain accurate patient records

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. a current and valid HCPC registration
  2. experience working with dysphagia in paediatrics
  3. strong communication and interpersonal skills
  4. the ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  5. a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a flexible working position that requires availability from Monday - Friday, with flexibility where possible. The contract is on an ongoing basis with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
