Dynamics PAT Project Leader - 39964 - £34.45/hr umbrella rate

What You Will Do:

  1. Lead the planning and delivery of steering, ride, and handling/stability performance for new vehicle projects.
  2. Coordinate and manage the Dynamics team to achieve programme targets, ensuring the perfect balance of cost, weight, and vehicle performance.
  3. Utilize Vehicle Dynamics data and evidence to provide recommendations that enhance the customer driving experience.
  4. Employ a structured, data-driven approach to resolve technical problems, utilizing tools such as Root Cause Analysis and 8 Disciplines of problem solving.
  5. Engage in business travel both within the UK and internationally to meet project needs.
  6. Work flexibly in a hybrid environment, based primarily at Gaydon, to foster collaboration and innovation.

What You Will Bring:

  1. An Engineering Degree, underpinning your technical expertise.
  2. A profound understanding of Vehicle Dynamics fundamentals, both at the vehicle and system level.
  3. Proven project management skills with the ability to deliver complex projects involving multiple systems and resources.
  4. Experience in leading or influencing teams towards achieving common goals.
  5. Familiarity with AGILE methodologies, Design of Experiments, and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) is preferred.
