Dynamics 365 Business Central Project Manager – Shortlisting/interviewing immediately

Job Purpose:

I am currently recruiting on behalf of my client for an experienced Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) Project Manager. In this role, you will oversee the successful delivery of D365 BC projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for creating project roadmaps, managing resources, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring clear communication throughout the entire project lifecycle. You will also track project financials, address potential risks, and ensure the profitability of each project, while providing regular updates to clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the delivery of D365 BC projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, to budget, and to the agreed quality standards.
  2. Successfully manage multiple D365 BC projects simultaneously while maintaining excellent attention to detail and effective project management.
  3. Create and maintain essential project documentation, including project roadmaps, plans, and other key deliverables.
  4. Work closely with clients to define project objectives, business processes, and requirements for D365 BC implementations.
  5. Collaborate with the Resourcing team to ensure accurate and regular project billing.
  6. Provide regular updates to clients on project progress, addressing any concerns and proactively managing expectations.
  7. Develop an in-depth understanding of client organizations, their business needs, and the specific challenges they face with D365 BC.
  8. Lead communication efforts, ensuring smooth collaboration between the client, internal teams, and stakeholders.
  9. Identify project risks and proactively communicate with the team and clients to mitigate any potential challenges and maintain project timelines and budgets.
  10. Assist with management reporting, tracking project financials, and ensuring profitability by maintaining control over project costs and resources.

Skills & Experience:

  1. Project Management Qualifications: Prince 2, APM, PMI, or equivalent.
  2. Proven Project Management Experience: Minimum 3 years managing D365 BC projects within a consultancy environment.
  3. D365 BC Expertise: Deep experience with D365 BC implementations, from scoping to delivery.
  4. Delivery Methodologies: Expertise in Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies.
  5. Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  6. Multi-tasking & Adaptability: Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  7. Collaboration & Teamwork: Proven ability to work collaboratively with teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  8. Self-motivated & Results-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive results.

Desirable:

  1. Experience in the Not-for-Profit sector is highly desirable.
  2. Experience managing D365 BC and related ERP/CRM projects is an advantage.
  3. Knowledge and experience in Agile or Hybrid project delivery methodologies.

Package: Up to £65K £5400 car allowance (£70K) 23 days holiday rising to 28 days with time of services bank holidays 5% bonus.

Location: Remote / Home-based & working at client sites as required.
