We are seeking a highly skilled DV Cleared Planner/Scheduler to join our team at within the MOD. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong planning and scheduling background, particularly at the Portfolio level.

Key Details:

• Contract Duration: Initially 6 months, with potential extension to 12months + for the right candidate
• Location: Full-time, on-site
• IR35 Status: Inside IR35
• Experience: Minimum of 8+ years, with at least 2 years of recent experience within the last 24 months
• Security Clearance: DV (Developed Vetting) clearance required

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage master planning and scheduling efforts at the portfolio level
• Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders and project managers to ensure efficient and effective planning processes
• Coordinate with various teams to ensure alignment with project timelines and milestones
• Provide strategic guidance and oversight on project planning and scheduling activities
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes and systems

Essential Skills and Experience:

• At least 8 years of experience in planning and scheduling, with a strong emphasis on recent experience within the last 24 months
• Extensive experience working at the Portfolio level
• Expertise in project management tools, methodologies, and processes
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and provide strategic insights
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• DV Clearance is a must

Desirable Skills:

• Experience within the MOD or similar defence organisations
• Familiarity with ABW or similar systems
