Duty Manager

Job Summary
Are you an experienced leader with a passion for retail management? We are seeking a motivated and proactive Retail Manager to take full operational control of our mini-supermarket, which includes an off-licence section. Our store specializes in selling a diverse range of groceries, confectioneries, and beverages. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to step into a leadership role with full autonomy.

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for customers.
2. Manage inventory levels, including ordering, stocking, and organizing products.
3. Lead and supervise a team of staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
4. Maintain compliance with licensing regulations and health and safety standards.
5. Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and improve customer satisfaction.
6. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
7. Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, sales targets, and expense management.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in retail management or a similar role.
2. Educated to a Degree level or equivalent is ideal but not necessary.
3. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
5. Knowledge of inventory management and point-of-sale systems.
6. Familiarity with off-licence regulations is highly advantageous.
7. Ability to work independently and take initiative.

• Driving Licence (preferred)
