We are hiring for a Duct Engineer Team Leader to undertake ventilation system maintenance and cleaning across various sites in the UK. This is a fast-paced role where you'll be an important part of a team ensuring ventilation systems are maintained to industry standards, working safely in confined spaces and at heights, and delivering high-quality service to customers.

Duties of a Duct Engineer Team Leader:

You will be working as part of the Maintenance and Engineering team and will be responsible for:

  • Cleaning and maintaining ventilation duct systems, including canopies, ductwork, and fan units to industry standards.
  • Installing access panels where necessary to ensure accessibility to duct systems.
  • Carrying out work in confined spaces and at heights, ensuring full adherence to safety protocols.
  • Communicating with customers to provide updates and ensure satisfaction with the work.
  • Signing off on work completed by yourself and your team.
  • Compiling reports with before-and-after photos to submit to clients.

Skills and experience of a Duct Engineer Team Leader:

As a Duct Engineer Team Leader, you need to have experience with:

  • Cleaning and maintaining ventilation systems to industry standards.
  • Working safely in confined spaces and at heights, with relevant certifications (e.g., CSCS, IPAF).

It would be beneficial to the Duct Engineer Team Leader role if you also had:

  • Good communication skills, in particular with written and verbal English.
  • Access to reliable transport. The client's site is accessible via car, public transport, walking, or cycling.
  • Previous experience in working with ventilation systems or mechanical services.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A strong focus on safety and attention to detail in every task.
