1. Demonstrate and advise customers on the use of their new Smart Meter Exchange gas and electric meters.
2. Provide maintenance and repairs post-install if required.

To be successfully appointed as a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer, you will need the following skills and experience:

• Full UK Driving licence (no more than 6 points).
• Experience of installing dual fuel smart meters.
• Current and valid CCN1, CMA1, MET1, MOCOPA or a relevant Smart Metering qualification.

Normal hours are 08:00-17:00 or 09:00-18:00 Monday-Friday (depending on area).

Hours whilst on standby are 11:00-20:00.

When on call you could be required anytime until 08:00 the next day – not common, but flexibility is essential for this role.

On-call schedule is on average 1 in every 5 weeks (can vary on location).
