Drivers mate / Warehouse Operative

Job Description

Within this role, you will either be in the warehouse manoeuvring and organising large appliances using a sack barrow, or you may sometimes be asked to go out in the vans working as a driver's mate assisting with the delivery to customers' homes. This position will include a lot of heavy lifting and manual handling, so you must be physically fit and comfortable with the heavy lifting aspect of it.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hourly Rate: This role pays at £11.44 per hour. Please note that we do not offer visa sponsorship.

Working Hours: If you are out in the vans working as a driver's mate, you will be required to start any time between 03:30 and 07:30 am; your start time will be texted to you before 17:30 the day before. Otherwise, if you are working in the warehouse, you will start at 08:00.

Experience & Qualifications

You must be comfortable with very heavy lifting, be a team player, and always be willing to go the extra mile to help when needed. Previous warehouse experience is essential. You must also have a driving licence and your own transport due to the start times.
